Having been active in political stuff, I spent January and February really looking at the reality ( which you describe so eloquently) and deciding “I want to envision, and act on, the future I want to see.” And so I decided to immerse myself in permaculture and gardening. I create beautiful spaces, and have an abundance of food growing. I am thrilled to read Substack, especially “Earth Regenerators” where the author show how nature can heal itself with some help from we humans.
Thank you, Umair. It was the right message for us. We have been thwarted numerous times recently, but we are still risking to create a different life. 🙏🏽
Thank you for the clarity, dear Umair. I am making progress in the transformation of my life on all three fronts.
I have been transitioning from an author/visual artist/singer-songwriter to an author/visual artist/singer-songwriter/publisher/archivist. I am becoming increasingly autonomous, while increasing collaboration with peers in the media ecosystem.
My personal life is an increasingly loving and supportive interaction with my partner of the past thirty years, for which we are both grateful.
My financial life has evolved in recognition of that both my partner and I are in the final third of our lives. I am interested mostly in passive income that will support us while we work on our creative projects and enjoy our lives together as best we can. Buying a new home is not a priority. International travel we have already done extensively and enjoyed immensely, but we are now more interested in low cost high quality healthcare and a supportive community of friends.
